paediatrics is fun, as i wanted it to be :)
playing with the little ones really just takes all your worries away, and you just find yourself smiling incessantly in their presence and wanting to do anything that would make them smile. it's really amazing how cute they all can be even while feeling unwell! most of the time, adults are cranky and miserable (namely me) when they're sick and probably make everyone around them miserable too, but it's just the opposite for kids. really amazing :)
and there are some that really just tug and tug and tug at the heartstrings. like christopher, the sweet 4 year old who doesn't talk much but could play with you forever and ever and is so excited to draw the people standing around him with various facial expressions! what a smart boy :) and kahlynn, a really beautiful baby with gorgeous eyelashes hurhur, who kept making me pull down her helium balloon to her face while she releases it and laughs each time it hits the crib and just wants to do it again and again :) so many other adorable kids that make my day everyday. i really love this posting. it would be great to be able to do this my whole life and just be happified everyday by the kids :)
