wheeee oh man i must promote the "I Not Stupid 2" movie!!! went to watch it with my mom today and it was suuuuuperbly made!! really touching, and just pulls at all my heartstrings (hurhur chordae tendinae? :)) cried buckets of tears, used up a whole packet of tissue, would have needed more but couldn't find any hurhur so in the end left the cinema with a tear-stained face and sniffling really badly...my eyes are so swollen now haha sheesh, haven't had a show do that to me in a long long time, if ever!! the theme of the show just manages to really relate to a lot of people i guess, and i just felt so moved by the whole movie...the storyline, the acting, and well, just about everything. it's quite a work of art, really. must watch!!! :) haha i think i'm gonna buy the dvd when it comes out...something worth keeping at home :) quite like one of the songs from the show...a rap one, that sounded really like a jay chou one with different lyrics, wahhh it was nice :)

oh yes, and went to see a doctor at 11.50pm at night, and it cost me 54 bucks!!! arghhhhh sheesh...so xin tong man...but my parents and dear were quite insistent that i go see immediately after having fever for 3 plus days liao and still no sign of it receeding...so i went! :) hurhur clinic almost closing liao...the doc was one foot out of his examination room when i stepped in sheepishly. then he was like "heh it's okies" quite a nice doctor, diagnosed that i must have catch a different strain from the hospital attachment i went for last week!! haha sighs need to build up my antibodies against all these different strains from the different departments man...if not life in yr 3 to 5 will be miserable, getting sick on every posting! *touch wood* heh to think those cute little ones in peds could hold such virulent strains! then again, i'm still so glad i had close contact with them and helped to examine them and stuff! hurhur so sweet...one was drooling all over me (literally of course *laughs*)

wheeeee can't wait to get well and go watch memoirs!! been thinking about this movie for such a long time, and just when it's finally showing, i have to go and fall sick!! urgh must get well before chinese new year so can eat all the yummy stuff at grandma's place yaaaaay *beams* love CNY...steamboat dinner with me and my cousin downing the most abalone, prawns, fish and everything else than everyone else combined hurhur...the pineapple tarts, the chocolates and icecream my uncle never fails to provide us with...the bbq meat, the love letters....oohh my parotid gland is working up just thinking of all these things!! yaaaay countdown says 2 days to BIG FEAST!! yaaaaaay!!! *beams*

"The place God calls you to is the place where your deep joy and the world's deep hunger meet."

CMDF (christian medical and dental fellowship) yesterday was enriching!! so glad i went for it *beams* the speaker was really really good...sincere in bringing her message across, and i just felt so blessed by her sharing. "re-calling, re-vascularisation and re-calibration" - a call to remember why we wanted to do this (medicine) in the first place, to open ourselves to God and allow him to heal us spiritually, and to understand our limitations and achieve a balance in our lives. and the quote above really struck deep in me. so many times, we keep saying oh we want to do this and that, but we fail to stop and ponder over whether this is really where God wants us to be to do his work. and at the end of the day, it's not about what we ourselves want to do, but where God chooses to place us in, and that's something i have to learn to remember and accept. :)

went chinatown today with my mom to shop around and hopefully buy some chinese new year stuff...oh man it was sooo irritatingly packed!! cos today was the official light-up ceremony by my favourite person (SM LKY!!) but haha unfortunately i missed catching a glimpse of him cos i was busying myself in OG erps *grinses* sighs so didn't get much stuff cos it was like really really crowded and impossible to walk and look at stuff...but i bought for darling his favourite pastries from his favourite shop in chinatown!! yaaaay then surprised him with a box of them at his place on the way home *beams* hurhur sighs i should try one of them one day..went back later to get one for myself, but the shop was closed already arghhhh. heee it smelt really good...aiyoh craving liao :) one more day to the end of your exams dear!! jiayous jiayous!! yaaaay shall countdown to mon 3pm :)

haha going for YM service tomorrow...luckily got audrey's company, if not i'll feel so lost and erm OLD. eeks. i'm 20 this year!! sighs must enjoy the rest of the 8 months ahead as a teenager...i'm sliding into adulthood...urgh!! :)
