and everything's back to being wonderful, and i think, even more blissful than before *beams* just so so thankful we managed to settle and sort things out :) and also really thankful for those around me with all their love and concern :) was really just living in happiness this past week, cos studying with him by my side everyday makes the stress much more manageable! and i still can't stop grinning when i heard about what happened in the M2 lecture the other day haha sheesh *grinses* thanks for everything darling! *hugs* :)
on a less bright note, today was our last practical with prof bay!!! so sad man :( he's such a wonderful wonderful tutor...and so easy to talk to...so understanding as well! my anat group had lunch with him today as a farewell thing, and he treated all 13 of us!! aiyoh feel so bad about that man...should be we treating him after all he's done for us! really hope to do reasonably okies for anatomy for his sake...after all the effort he's put into teaching us :) haha sighs...though i really think jp and leo are gonna have to treat me after the CAs hurhur! (for doing better than me which is like totally gonna happen *grinses* :P)

and i think it's time.
went into it dreaming of chocolate-covered rainbows and cotton-candy skies, and walking out of it now, realising that cloudy skies and rainy days just don't make it. and it's this realisation that's pushing me to make this decision. i wanted it so badly to work out, but i guess there're just some things you can't resolve, and probably never will, so really, it's better now than later. differing outlooks on life, inherent differences that won't disappear overnight, things and beliefs so important to me just cast aside, the promises that went unfulfilled, so there's really no point in letting it drag on further.
i've learnt a lot. and i guess this is all part of what we call growing up. and really i feel i'm coming out of this with an understanding, shining with a clarity that probably wasn't there before. and i'm just thankful that the Lord has still blessed me so so richly in so many other ways, and i know that whatever has happened it just part of God's plan for me, his plan to mould me into the person he wants me to become. and because of that, i can just put my faith in him to bring this through, to make things right. and i am blessed.

hurhur u noe, medical textbooks are really full of surprises and laughter and fun *grinses* somehow wenbo always manages to find the most interesting texts that i somehow always seem to miss! (hurhur perhaps that's cos i read them too cursorily erps :S) but anyways! he was showng me this portion of the text on GIT the other day that says this:
"In the large intestine, most of the gases are derived from bacterial action, including especially carbon dioxide, methane, and hydrogen. When methane and hydrogen become suitably mixed with oxygen, an actual explosive mixture is sometimes formed. Use of the electric cautery during sigmoidoscopy (which is some procedure where u stick a scope up the sigmoid part of the large intestine) has been known to cause a mild explosion." -ouch-
hurhur gosh read it on the way to the science canteen, and when i got to the part about the mild explosion, just started laughing nonstop for about 2 minutes hurhur...how embarrassing :) but that was like the best laughing workout i'd gotten in a long time *grinses*
and that's not all! anat texts, like snell, harbour a treasury of interesting ahem pieces of information too! like this one, on the topic of the diaphragm:
" Muscle of abdominal straining: its contraction aids that of the muscles of hte anterior abdominal wall in raising the intra-abdominal pressure to evacuate the pelvic contents. This mechanism is furtehr aided by the person taking a deep breath and closing he glottis of the larynx. The diaphragm is unable to rise because of the air trapped in the respiratory tract. Now and then, air is allowed to escape, producing a grunting sound."
hurhur like gee, thanks for the overload of information *laughs*
lots more stuff he found man..but too lazy to type them out now liaos...so entertaining really!!! :) hurhur but maybe it's just my low threshold of laughter acting up...somehow these information doesn't have that great an effect on the others!! hmmm sighs :) well, i'm just glad i'm easily amused...makes reading the texts much more fun! :):):)
