i had such a great birthday this year! *beams* thank you to all who messaged me through the course of the day too! ur thought means a lot to me :) and love ya godzilla! :) it was so utterly sweet of them to plan a surprise celebration for me, with cake, card and presents! honestly didn't expect anything...but they gave me more than i could imagine! hey guys...i love ya so much for caring and bothering to take the time to hurhur pon lecture to get my cake, as well as going shopping for my present! *grinses* so sorrie abt the ponning lect part though *grinses* anyways! delicious creamy chocolate cake, yummy! and the og card with all the well-wishes! the pair of shoes, i love them! hurhur fiona and wenbo has good taste, yes! :) a big thank you to qinyong too! so sorrie u got caught by ur lecturer while writing my birthday note! hurhur i can't bear to take ur crane apart...so i guess i'll just have to commit ur note to memory *grinses* and a big thank you to likman too! thanks for ur sweet note! *beams* it kept me smiling throughout the day :) thanks especially to fiona, i know you put in a lot of effort and thought into planning this for me, thanks dear, you're too sweet! thank you to yanping, the 1st person to message me at midnight! *grinses* and to xiaohui too, for the 4am message! *grinses* thanks also to those who treated me to lunch and dessert...you guys really shouldn't have! thanks so much for all the wonderful memories i have amassed this year, thanks to you guys...if only you guys knew how much all you did for me meant to me, truly. how ur love kept me extra happy throughout the day, how you guys keep me happy everyday, always :)
and just like that, i'm 19! last year as a teenager, eeks! hurhur i'd better make the most i can of the year as i possibly can before i turn 20 officially! :)

hurhur k i was majorly amused by the 2nd-hand book sale today *grinses* really a case of "now-you-see-it, now-you-don't"! standing around at the back innocently, attempting to peer over the shoulders (ahem) of the many people surrounding the wooden tables...the crowd's greedy eyes on ningyan and quanyao...hurhur or rather the stacks of textbooks they were carrying *grinses* and then, the moment they deposited those books on the table...whoosh! and in one second all was lost! :) hurhur my slow-ness as well as lack of sight due to extensive blockage hurhur of cos meant that i went back empty-handed...hurhur actually that wasn't really true! thoughtful liyana and mirriam actually helped me grab wheater's, but it was a really old edition, so decided not to buy it in the end...put it back on the table, and in a second, was snatched up by someone else immediately! amazing seriously :) but i'm glad i was slow today...cos chris is giving me the texts i'm lacking! yaaay thank you so much *beams*
nice surprise to see kaicheng, hongwan and wai keong in school today! catched up on some stuff with them...it's funny how we hardly ever talked in rj, but somehow when we're out of school, it just seems natural and comfortable and the words just keep flowing...anyhow, glad to see that they're safe and sound and doing well in army *grinses*

the real first day of school today! and it was such a fantastic fantastic one! *beams* started off the morning with a great bunch of people in morning devotion, then met up with almost the whole og before lecture and sat through 6 hours of lectures with them today! haha gosh godzilla is THE og man...love everybody so much :):):) delicious, albeit sinful (why are all the delicious lunches sinful!!) lunch with the og at swensen's...where wenbo and xueying ordered the unlimited ice-cream for $1!! haha great recommendation man...only at holland village, go eat if you have my bottomless-pitted-stomach for ice-cream *grinses* the 6 of us at my table including me finished up roughly 17 scoops of icecream hurhur *grinses* hurhur well lectures weren't exactly fantastic...desperately trying to register what was being said, but i think 8 months of non-activity in my brain (aside from marking pri 3 kids' work *grinses*) has rendered my brain into a complete useless lump of matter...hurhur sheesh...hope this brain of mine kicks back into action with a vengence soon! :) that said, the company the whole day was soooo fantastic! had loads of fun and laughter, even during lectures (oooops :)) thanks to the group of people sitting around me hurhur...wah learnt a lot of new stuff about my fellow og mates man *grinses* such an interesting day it has been...can't wait to see everyone on wed again! school is looking ever so good once again *beams*

flag day yesterday was fabulous!!! :) 6 performances in 3 different places...and all of us were how psyched up! david and i were damn high...figuratively and literally (our stunts went sooo well and high! *beams*) yaaaay thanks david, my great partner! :) haha gosh i'd forgotten the adrenaline rush of performing in public...but yesterday brought it all back! the biggest ever smiles on all our faces...*beams* :):):) and so proud of my fellow Godzillians too! the two busking groups from my og were fantastic! *hugs* it's been a fun 2-3 weeks of practices, and the end is near! hope all goes well on sat :)
